Discovering where the wild things are: 150 years of the Hertfordshire Natural History Society

Hertfordshire Natural History Society’s volunteer members have been keeping track of the county’s wildlife and habitats since 1875.

This talk will contrast its Victorian origins, established by wealthy, sometimes eccentric enthusiasts, with its modern role recording our changing natural environment in challenging times. It is linked to the ‘Wild about Hertfordshire’ exhibition in the Keeper’s Galleries (21 March to 6 July)

Speaker: David Utting, HNHS Secretary
