Join Us

St Albans Greener Together wants to include everyone in the drive for a more sustainable future. Whether it be businesses, community organisations or individual members we all have a part to play in the climate solution. You will be a part of the St Albans Greener Together Network of individuals, businesses, and community groups together to share best practice and case studies. You will receive information, signposting and access to resources and can also attend free interactive workshops, discussions and webinars surrounding sustainability issues. If you are a business or community organisation operating in St Albans City and District, we will promote your sustainable actions through our channels and network. Individual’s actions can be promoted too, share your stories with us via the Your stories tab!

The success of the network depends how much St Albans City and District members get involved. We are all part of this together with the goal of reducing emissions to create a healthier planet. We ask everyone to:

Share

Help to get as many people involved as possible by sharing the initiative with colleagues, friends, and family.

Learn

We learn from each other so share your experiences and activities.

Participate

Get involved and motivate each other by coming along to the events, webinars, workshops and socials when you can.

If you are looking to make more of a difference, here are some ideas:

Promote

As a member you could publicise your membership status by visibly displaying our poster in your establishment, website and/or social media -all these materials are available to download on our resources page.

Share

We all learn from each other so you could share your sustainability stories with us, so we can publish it on our website in the Your Stories tab. You could also post your story to social media and tag us so we can amplify your voice. We would love to hear about what you are doing, what went well and what you would do differently next time so we can all learn from you.

Lead

Helping to contribute and lead the network by hosting talks, workshops or providing support is another way to make a difference. You could develop your organisational Sustainability Action Plan and then tell us all how you are doing. We will promote your activities on the website and through our publicity channels.

Participate

Getting involved and motivating others is always encouraged. You could come along to events, webinars, workshops and socials and strive to keep on progressing and talking about, your sustainable actions.
