Repair Fair at Chapel Halls on Brewhouse Hill

Don’t chuck it, repair it!

The St Albans District Fixers of Sustainable St Albans are coming to Chapel Halls on Brewhouse Hill to help repair household fabrics and electrical items you might otherwise throw away.

Bring along your faulty electrical items and worn, torn fabrics. The team of skilled amateur fixers will do their best to put them right or offer advice.

You may even learn to repair things yourself!

They run an Eventbrite booking system for the event and you can book a time for your repair via the ‘booking details’ link to book your slot. This will go live 18 February 2024.

There are always a few open slots but booking assures the team can help you.

Repairing items helps to reduce waste, reduce CO2 emissions, save people money and in the longer term prevent our planet from being destroyed by over exploitation of our shared resources.

This event is kindly sponsored by the Wheathampstead & District Preservation Society.

They run a booking system for the event and you can book a time for your repair via Eventbrite.

The booking system will go live 16 March 2025 - check out Sustainable St Albans Page for updates.
