One Action Together Campaign

One Action Together Logo

St Albans Greener Together is proud to announce the start of the One Action Together campaign!

Living sustainably can seem like a huge challenge and many people who want to make a difference are not sure whether their actions are having any impact.

That is what One Action Together is all about – highlighting that even if an action seems small, when we all do it together it can have an important effect on our planet. We have done calculations of what our impact could be at a local scale to show just how much difference St Albans District can make if we all get involved.

Check out the different themes we are focussing on and see the examples of actions you could take. We are starting with the themes of sustainable eating and reducing waste.

Can you select one action you could take this week and then share on social media of what you have decided to do?

We want you to share the actions you have been taking whether you’re a resident, a community organisation, a business, a school or other entity! We want to see how you are involved in the local sustainability effort and help us encourage others to take part.

Tag @stalbansgreenertogether on Instagram or Facebook and share your sustainable actions so we can repost and show how the community is working to help the environment.

Currently we are planning to focus on themes of waste, energy saving, sustainable eating and sustainable transport. If you have any ideas for other impactful themes that we could incorporate please be in touch at greenertogether@stalbans.gov.uk

If you would like to be involved in the promotion of the campaign and help to distribute the One Action Together resources to your members, customers or other groups please contact us at greenertogether@stalbans.gov.uk to be given access to the One Action Together communications pack.
