St Albans Pickers is an environmental group that works to collect rubbish from the local environmental to preserve the area and make it a nicer place to live and work. The group was created to support the work of the volunteer ‘Saturday’, ‘Sunday’ and ‘Wednesday’ Pickers groups that operate in St Albans. They now campaign to reduce the environmental damage of littering, fly tipping, abandoned vehicles and for safer roads.
