Wilderhood Watch is a group of St Albans residents determined to help make our city more friendly for wildlife and people, one street at a time. The group encourages residents to start up projects such as creating a ‘corridor’ of plants from which bees and other pollinators can forage, you can ensure that they never go hungry, no matter what the season. There is a Pollinator Highway project involving swapping pollinator-friendly plants amongst residents and encouraging individuals to learn to garden in a more wildlife friendly way. There is also a Hedgehog Street, creating access holes for hedgehogs.
